My belief and approach

You are important and unique.

My aim is to ensure you get something very meaningful out of the time we share. The agenda is yours. My job is to naturally steer you to greater clarity and confidence. I may suggest tools and techniques to help you identify issues, decide direction and take action. I  look for what excites you and capitalise on that.

As a coach I do a lot of listening and ask searching questions to help you achieve exactly what you are looking for.

I seek to create the environment that works best for you - one that is based on trust, respect and confidentiality and where you take away learning, reflections, insights and practical actions that will make a real difference to your life.

Sometimes that happens quickly or takes time, depending on your situation, aspirations and challenges.  Together we will go at the pace that's right for you, in order for you to achieve the success, outcomes, results you are looking for.

My customer promise

My commitment to you is to do a very good job. You will get my attention and I come to your session fully prepared, giving of myself, experience, insights, tools and techniques and I will reflect on your discussions afterwards.

My friends say......

"We love Ruth's committment to people as individuals, she is creative, insightful, warm,  is glass half full but realistic,  loves to get to the heart of the matter and know what works,  is rooted in practical solutions and authentic. She loves open spaces, two places that are particularily special to her (apart from Scotland!) are Darfur and Afghanistan.

Coaching is her round peg in a round hole"
